The Cape Cod Roots and Blues Festival is a celebration of family, live music, community and the natural environment of the Outer Cape.
We will bring extraordinary live performers of homegrown, raw and rootsy music to the Outer Cape. I want to bring the musicians and music that we love to the place we call home to show the world what an amazing place the Outer Cape is.
We will draw on our diverse and extended family of brother and sister bands to rock the fans all day long. It’s about bringing to the stage a musical family that we have been cultivating for 25 years strong back to the Cape.
The #CCRBFest will be on the coolest site ever. We have chosen the beautiful Nauset Beach as a festival site. This 10-mile stretch of sandy beach offers swimming & fishing, plus surfing in non-protected areas -all literally right behind the stage! With Hog Island Beer Company on site as well, the Cape Cod Roots & Blues Festival will be a lovely day of sounds and sites and clean, fresh ocean air.
We will support the environment and the earth which we live on by partnering with local organizations which aim to preserve the natural habitat, wildlife and fauna of the Outer Cape. We will be donating a portion of the proceeds.
Awww Yeah our festival is going to rock and we look forward to seeing all of your smiling faces. It’s our job to make y’all happy and inspired with our music and we look forward to sharing this special event with you and your family.
After 25 years on the road, G. Love has developed relationships with several artists and created a musical family. The Cape Cod Roots & Blues Festival is an event bringing together this musical family from the road with the community around his residence in Outer Cape Cod. The backdrop will be the beautiful Nauset Beach located in Orleans, MA. This 10-mile stretch of sandy beach offers swimming & fishing, plus surfing in non-protected areas.
Both, the relationships with the people of the Outer Cape Cod Community and the beautiful surrounding local landscape, are an important part of CCR&B Festival. The surrounding beaches along with local favorite, Hog Island Beer Company, share the event space with the homegrown, raw and rootsy music of the extraordinary live performers of the CCR&B Festival. These exceptional characteristics blend together to produce a unique event right on the Atlantic Ocean, creating a exquisite day of sounds, sites and clean, fresh ocean air.
In the spirit of that blend of music and community nature, the CCR&B Festival will be donating a portion of the proceeds to local organizations, like Friends of Nauset Beach, which aims to preserve the natural habitat, wildlife and fauna of the Outer Cape and donating a portion of the proceeds.
Mike McNamara, owner and cofounder of the Hog Island Beer Co. in Orleans MA, has assembled a nonprofit appropriately named “Friends of Nauset Beach”. This nonprofit has been established to preserve the environmental integrity of the shore and ensure public access and awareness for future generations.
We are so proud to be working with the Friends of Nauset Beach as our non profit partner for the Cape Cod Roots & Blues Festival. Much like us, they have an a very special agenda to keep the Beach of Nauset an amazing place to be. Here are the main tenants of the Friends of Nauset Beach:
